About Us

The Tipperary Martial Arts Centre was opened in 2003. After meeting with various martial arts instructors in the area, it was agreed that there was a need for a “purpose built” dojo in the town as opposed to hiring floor space at the local sports centre. The centre was officially opened in May 2004 by rugby international, Alan Quinlan.

The centre is now the base of many local martial arts schools and has quickly become an important part of the local community. We are very proud of the fact that we are the Irish headquarters for HKI International with two Kyusho-Certified instructors, Sensei John Duggan and Sensei Cormac Walsh.
